Apply for Financial Aid
The U.S. Department of Education awards over $100 billion every year to help students like you pay for college. Federal student aid is awarded in the form of grants, work-study funds, and student loans. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available at studentaid.gov in December for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Montana Tech’s priority deadline to apply for financial aid is February 1, 2025, for students starting in the fall. We continue processing aid through the academic year.
