Montana Tech is committed to providing both state and federal financial assistance to qualifying students. Nearly every student is eligible to obtain financial aid to assist with the cost of their education.

We encourage you to apply, and to apply early, to ensure that you don’t miss out on any opportunities that may be available. Even if you think you may not qualify, it’s never a bad idea to apply! To be considered for the maximum amount of aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov by December 1^st.

Montana Tech offers over $1 million in scholarships to each new incoming class. All incoming first-year students are eligible for Oredigger merit scholarships, which are awarded automatically based on GPA and test scores.

Other awards, such as the Moebus Presidential Scholarship, require a special scholarship application to be submitted. If you qualify for any of these scholarships, you will receive email invitations to apply and see links to them on your personal site.
