Oredigger Registration Rally 2024 Registration

Join us in-person for an Oredigger Registration Rally!

Be among the first to register and get your fall 2024 schedule dialed in. We're hosting two in-person Registration Rallies on May 10th and June 14th. 

Sign up for a rally and have the opportunity to get your fall course schedule, meet your advisor, eat lunch on us, and connect with staff from Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing, and more. 

This is a registration event featuring:

  • *(Optional) Campus Tours - starting at 8:30AM in the Student Success Center
  • Welcome - with campus leadership at 10:00AM in the Library
  • You're Enrolled...now what?! session at 10:15AM
  • Meet your advisor at 11AM 
  • Lunch on us! at 11:30AM
  • *(Optional) Q&A with Admissions/Resource Fair - starting at 11:30AM in Student Union Building
  • *(Optional) Montana 10 meeting - starting at 12:00PM in Student Union Building
  • *(Optional) Residence Hall tours - starting at 12:30PM in Student Success Center
  • *(Optional) Trolley Tours beginning at 1:00PM

Incoming FIRST-YEAR students must have submitted proof of MMR vaccinations on file and must satisfy both math and writing placement requirements to be eligible for fall 2024 enrollment. 

  • Placement in math and writing courses will be determined by your ACT or SAT scores.
  • If you don't have ACT or SAT scores, you may take a Montana Tech placement exam instead.

    College Success Writing placement testing is required of all students who do not have ACT or SAT scores or other eligible credit and is offered in-person on campus, to register to take the test go HERE and select College Success from the bottom of the page, then select Writing Placement Exam. 

    If you're pursuing a four-year bachelor's degree, ALEKS Math placement testing is available online; to register to take the test go HERE and select ALEKS PPL from the bottom of the page. Complete online testing a minimum of 10 days before your registration rally to have a complete course schedule.

    If you're pursing an Associate of Applied Science program, College Success Math placement testing is offered in-person on campus, to register to take the test go HERE and select College Success from the bottom of the page, then select Math Placement Exam. 

    At the scheduling links in-person testing slots are available on registration rally days after 1:00pm so you can test after scheduled registration rally sessions or you can visit campus another day for testing. Please allow for 90 minutes for College Success Writing testing and 60 minutes for College Success Math testing.

  • Have dual credit or AP/IB/CLEP test scores? Email your test scores, grades, or in-progress schedule to our admissions office at admissions@mtech.edu. If placement testing is still required we will let you know.

TRANSFER students must have submitted proof of MMR vaccinations and unofficial transcripts on file to be eligible for fall 2024 enrollment.  

  • Unofficial college transcripts need to be on file prior to being registered for fall classes. If you have not done so already, please submit your transcripts to admissions@mtech.edu. For the purpose of Registration Rallies only unofficial transcripts are required. Please be aware that official transcripts will be required to start the the 2024 fall semester.
